BikePark at the Hochstein

Welcome to the Jungle Line

It would be a waste of effort to look for palm trees, sandy beaches and cocktails on our new “Welcome to the Jungle Line.“ Instead you will discover a black trail of some consequence. This new version is 600 metres long and descends along the slope line over stony fields and terrain with many trees and roots. Straight through the Hochstein wood, in the direction of the valley, until just before your muscles can't take any more, you are back on the Peter Sagan trail.
Please note: only for experts

Peter Sagan Trail

The new Peter Sagan trail is the perfect addition to the existing Alban Lakata trail. Both trails together cover a length of 7,1 kilometres and are a challenge for every experienced biker. Flow and massive air time perfectly describe the new trail, although the fantastic panorama should also be mentioned. Where else can you ride your bike along a perfectly shaped 7 kilometres long trail directly into the town? 55 steep curves, 18 ROLLER, many gaps, step ups,… and a mega panorama boner are enough to make every biker's heart beat faster and motivate you to try it again.

The Alban Lakata Trail

The start ist right at the Moosalm. The 2.2 kilometre route winds past the Venedigerwarte, through forested sections and via the World Cup ski piste to the valley station. The route is impressive - along with several jumps, one is right after the start, three wooden bridges and jumps with wave combinations provide plenty of changes in direction and challenging sections. The wave combinations present a fantastic challenge to pros and beginners alike.

Pump track in the biker park Lienz

The new world cup pump track, by the bottom station of the Lienz chair lift and cable car, offers beginners as well as advanced bikers a lot of action and every time you finish a round, you will notice an improvement in your skills. Therefore, before you tackle the single trails, warm up with a few laps on the new pump track!
Opening times are the same as the chair lift / daily from 09:00 to 17:00.

This is how it works:
The roller coaster feeling motivates young and old and encourages the improvement of motor skills. With skillful forward and backward leaning before and after the waves, as well as dynamic curve techniques, a fast momentum can be built up without having to pedal. Relax in the hips. Hold the handlebars with tension.

Tips for parents:
Children from the age of 3 can improve their motor skills. Go with them into the pump track and stabilise your child with your back hand under the armpits. Use your front hand to stabilise the handlebars if necessary. The child's feet should be able to touch the floor when they are sitting on the saddle. Step by step, move from riding while sitting to riding while standing.
